House rules

Squash City applies certain house rules to ensure that visiting and training at Squash City is as pleasant and safe as possible for all its members and visitors. You should be familiar with these house rules when you visit Squash City.

  1. All visitors to Squash City, whether you have a membership of not, are required to first check-in at reception.
  2. All memberships and day cards that are sold are strictly personal and may not be used by any other person than the cardholder.
  3. Any person trying to use our facilities without a valid membership or day card, or tries to bring a friend in without paying will result in automatic and instant expulsion from Squash City. Further admission will be refused without any possible refund.
  4. Squash City reserves the right to refuse new memberships or to not extend old memberships and day cards for whatever reason. Squash City can also refuse entry if they feel that the maximum number of clients has been reached for the facility that the person will join for.
  5. This use of all Squash City facilities, sporting and otherwise, is at your own risk.
  6. All personal belongings are brought to Squash City at your own risk. Squash City has lockers available, but we recommend that you do not place valuables in these lockers and especially do not leave valuables unattended. Squash City will is not responsible for any theft or loss.
  7. Squash City lockers can only be used on the day that you use our facilities. You may not keep a locker overnight.
  8. Drugs of any kind are strictly forbidden on these premises.
  9. Tobacco smoking is allowed only on the ground floor.
  10. Glasswork is only allowed on the ground floor, and in the area before squash courts 11 to 14 on the 2nd floor. You may bring drink into the fitness, aerobics and sauna area but only in a sealable plastic bottle or bidon.
  11. It is forbidden to consume food brought in from outside Squash City. Food bought at Squash City may only be consumed on the ground floor.
  12. You must have a hand towel with you to use our sauna area, and are expected to sit on this towel in the saunas (note: not the steam bath). No swimming trunks or other clothes are permitted in the sauna area although we do recommend the use of bath slippers. You are expected to follow the full rules of the sauna area as posted in the sauna room.
  13. The sauna is only available to persons who have a valid membership or have a valid day card and guests of these persons.
  14. Users of our solarium are expected to leave these facilities clean for the next user; special cleaning material is available in each solarium cabin.
  15. Only persons 18 and above may use our fitness and aerobics facilities. In all other cases, parental supervision of children is expected at all times.
  16. It is not possible to switch memberships from one sports activity to another.
  17. It is not possible to put your membership on hold during, for example, your vacation.
  18. It is expected that you report any medical condition before you begin with any sort of training at Squash City. As we have no medical facilities at Squash City, we strongly urge you to get a full doctor's check up and professional advice before you start any sport activities. Squash City is not liable for any accident resulting from this condition, or any other medical/health related incident.
  19. This is a private sports club and clients are expected to act in accordance with these rules and to behave in a socially acceptable manner. Anti social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the club.
  20. Whenever you use the facilities at Squash City, you automatically accept these rules and agree to abide by them.
